-インストールにはUSBキーボードが必要
インストーラCDでブートおよびインストーラは起動するものの、PS/2キーボードでは起動後一切の操作が出来ないため、USBキーボードが必要。インストール終了後は問題なくPS/2キーボードが使える。
--ML115に付いてきたキーボードでもインストールできた。(amd64版)

--netinstでインストールしたところ、キーボードは動作するが、X起動後マウスが利用できない。外付けUSBでは動作する。
vesaドライバ1024x768 depth 16でXは起動する。

--src.rpm拾ってきてspec書き換えてrpmbuild -bbがお手軽。

-普通にインストール終了して再起動すると画面真っ暗でハングします。
-フレームバッファを停止(オプションのvga=0x317を消す)とBoot画面が出ます。
-でも、まだハングの原因は残っていて死ぬ間際に"Kernel option noapic"とか出るので
-オプションでnoapicを追加すれば起動します。

-サスペンドは無視されてスクリーンロック状態になる。
-ハイバネーションはwarningが出力されるが可能？(たまたま上手くできただけかも)

-GF7800GT、GF6600GE共に、メモリ4GB で特に問題もなくGUIインストールできた。
--ありがちだけど、CDブート時にネットワーク設定ついでにホスト名を変更すると各種アプリ(デスクトップにあるインストーラ含む)が立ち上がらなくなるというドツボにはまるので要注意。ホスト名は「ubuntu」のままにしておきましょう。後で変更できます。
--Radeon X600SE 刺すとフリーズしまくる。

AMD公式のモジュール(powernow-k8)に gentoo linux wiki から取ってきたパッチを当てて、カーネルリビルドで入るらしいけど未確認。

- 特に問題なくインストール出来た。と言っても当然minimalからCUIインストールで。
- splashutilsは普通にOK。オンボードでも、vesafbで 800x600-16@60 なら問題なし。
- 最適化は程々に。とくに-ffast-mathとか立てると死ねるので注意。
- ハードウェアクロック合わせがgenkernelデフォルトの設定だとタイムアウトする。面倒なら /etc/conf.d/clock を次のように編集して、 /dev/rtc を使わずISAを直接叩く。

- 問題なくインストール出来そう。ただ、試しに入れてみただけなので出来れば誰か検証して欲しいかも。
